Widgets are a great way to keep your schedule on track at a glance. Informant’s widgets give you a great way to keep up with work meetings, school recitals, and that much needed vacation to Hawaii, all without having to open an app.
To install our widget on an iOS device, simply hard press any empty space on your home screen and select the ‘+’ icon at the top left of the screen. Scroll until you see Informant 5. Here, you can choose between 3 styles of widgets. 2 single day widgets in different sizes and our Multi-day widget that allows you see 3 upcoming days in one window. Select the ‘Add Widget’ option at the bottom of the screen. Hard press the widget and select ‘Edit Widget’ to bring up your options for what information you’d like your widget to show, including weather.
For Android, hard press any empty space on your home screen and select the ‘Widgets’ option at the bottom of the page. Swipe left until you see Informant 5. Here, you can choose the size you’d like for your widget and then tap ‘Add’ on the right. The next screen will allow you to choose the settings for the widget such as font size and what information you’d like the widget to show.
