Tadalafil belongs to a class of drugs known as Phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE 5) inhibitors. Tadora is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia and erectile dysfunction (impotence) (BPH). Tadalafil may also occasionally be used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs). When a person is sexually aroused, blood can flow into the penis due to Tadalafil’s ability to relax the blood vessels in the penis. Thus, it helps in the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
Directions for use of tablet or capsule: Swallow whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, break or crush the capsule or pill. A tablet or strip that dissolves when taken orally: Hold the tablet or strip in your mouth and wait for it to dissolve. Don’t take it all at once. Keep your hands dry when handling the tablet or strip. Jelly: Place the jelly under your tongue or in your mouth and wait for it to dissolve. Tablet for oral dissolution: Place the tablet on the tongue and allow it to dissolve or disintegrate in the mouth without any liquid.
